I’ve spent years playing in pubs and hosting open mic nights.

That experience shapes how I think about guitar — not as something theoretical, but as something you do, something you enjoy, something you share.

But in lessons, the focus isn’t performance.

It’s helping you get to a point where you can sit down and just play.

For most adult beginners, motivation comes from enjoyment.

If you’re playing songs you recognise, you’re far more likely to keep going, build confidence, and improve naturally over time.

It becomes something you look forward to.

In many ways, it’s a form of therapy in itself.

My approach is simple:
